The last part of this entry covers anything that wasn't in the first two. So here goes!
It wasn't just dancing going on: these flower-candle-things were everywhere. My guess is that they are some kind of offering; this day coincided with the anniversary of the end of the war.

That's the last of the series from Yagoto. There will be a lot more to come: I just shot 200 pictures at the Dommanaka Matsuri, a huge dance festival held in Nagoya around the end of August, plus there will be some scanned film shots from Hokkaido and various other festival related digital pictures.
