If at first...part 2: the dancing
A Japanese festival without dancing is pretty hard to imagine. It seems to be mandated somehow. And the Merrill doesn't like it, because it involves people moving. Fortunately, they don't generally move that fast, so the AF can get a lock. The Merrill kind of reminds me of my old Digilux 2 when it comes to autofocus: it's slow, but it's accurate. It rarely misses.
Anyway, here are some dance shots.
Thanks for looking! The last part will be up in a few days and will consist of anything that didn't fall under the remit of the first two categories. I've been shooting a lot recently (it being festival season) so there are several more such entries on the way.
