Two kinds of light
One of the things that keeps photography interesting is that you never know what kind of light you're going to get. This post combines pictures from a day where the light was not the kind you'd normally want to shoot in - harsh and direct - and pictures from a day when it was spectacularly nice. The only way I could get the former pictures looking respectable was to convert them to black and white and play around with the colour channels, at which point they looked at least presentable.
