The X Vario has been almost perfectly dependable since I've been using it, but just the once it seemed to freeze up on me and I had to reset it. No big deal, most cameras do this at least once in a while, and it's certainly happened with most of the cameras I've used over the years. I carried on, thinking nothing of it, and it was only after a while that I realised that it might have reset some settings as well, because (bows head in shame) I had been shooting in JPG only. (The X Vario lets you shoot JPG, or RAW + JPG: there's no option for RAW only).

Now, this isn't a cardinal sin, but I'm basically a RAW shooter at heart, hence the title "oops". Having said all that, the JPGs seemed perfectly presentable, so the pictures in this entry are a mix of JPG and converted RAW. Hope you like them!
