Urban aesthetics (1)

Since coming back from the Hokkaido countryside, I've been thinking about what constitutes "aesthetic". There's something of a stereotypical line of thought which says that the countryside is "beautiful" and the urban / city scene is "ugly". They're certainly different, but to call one beautiful and one ugly seems too simplistic.
Anyway, that just means that I'm back in Tokyo and that will be fairly obvious from the next two sets of photos. No other theme than that, but hope you enjoy them.
The second part should hopefully be up next week.
