Tokyo prelude : not quite 36 views of Mt. Fuji

January 11, 2015  •  Leave a Comment

Five days in Tokyo (four, technically, as one was spent getting there and that forms the content of this post) means a lot of photos. There will be several themed posts coming up, and this is the first one. We got to Tokyo via Hakone, which provides spectacular views of this quite well-known mountain. I couldn't come up with 36 a la Hokusai, but I managed to get 19. So this is slightly over half a Hokusai.

Fuji doesn't really need words, so I'll let the pictures do the talking...other than to mention that the first two shots were from a moving train, as will be fairly easy to see.

It would be nice to say that I shot these with a Fuji, but alas I didn't. Still, hope you like them. Plenty more to come...

Thanks for looking!

This is a collection of posts. Some (most) have a particular theme, but some are just collections. I try to only include my best shots in here.

If you like what you see, please leave a message and I'll try to answer all comments.

Thank you!
