Three sensors walk into a bar (3)

July 28, 2019  •  Leave a Comment

The last of this little series features the CCD sensor, once the sensor of choice, but now basically replaced by the CMOS (and, where applicable, Foveon and X-Trans). I think the Leica M9 and its variants may have been the last cameras to use the CCD - or possibly some MF digital cameras, although I'm not a hundred per cent sure. In any case, these are all from the DMC-LC1 which I picked up for practically nothing a while ago. Everything's at ISO 100, because that's really the only viable choice! Hope you like these.

That wraps up this three-parter, but there's still plenty to come.

Thanks for looking!
