The titles of these entries are starting to get numerically confusing. Ah well, it's the pictures that count!
Part 2 of the Taiwan series. This one is mainly temples and areas of touristic interest around Taipei. It was raining (as it was for the vast majority of the trip) and it was relatively dark, but not enough to force the Sigma into its discomfort zone (which I class as over ISO 400). I still got away with 100 and 200 for the most part.
Here we go...starting with a "changing of the guard" Taiwan style. This is Martyrs' Shrine, which serves to honour soldiers killed in war.
Elsewhere around the shrine...
Moving on from the shrine, we found a flower garden which somehow reminded me a little of Biei and Furano in Hokkaido.
Seen from the station platform...
Seen in the middle of the street...
The next stop was the Chiang Kai-shek memorial hall, another impressive structure. Even in the rain...
Last pictures for this entry: another couple of temples, the names of which escape me at the moment. Nice places though.
That covers part 2. The last part will come later and will be a mix of things not yet covered.
Thanks for looking!
This is a collection of posts. Some (most) have a particular theme, but some are just collections. I try to only include my best shots in here.
