Counter-donyori

March 21, 2021  •  Leave a Comment

I recently came across the Japanese word どんより ("donyori", pronounced more or less how it looks), which means "leaden, overcast, grey, gloomy". Today is exceptionally donyori, so the best way to counter that is with lots of colour.

I've put quite a lot of black-and-white images up recently, so in contrast, this post is all about colour.

Everything shot with the iPhone (I do now have a couple of "real" cameras, but I still have enough iPhone material for at least two articles, of which this is the first).

Hope you like these!

Next week will probably be a week off, but there's plenty more to come.

Thanks for looking!

This is a collection of posts. Some (most) have a particular theme, but some are just collections. I try to only include my best shots in here.
