More pictures à la sanpo

After last week's loosely-themed post on "pictures taken while walking", it occurred to me that I have quite a few of them. And that's putting it mildly. I try to be disciplined when I shoot, but even then...when you have a camera with you all the time and you're in Tokyo, photos get taken.

Anyway, this is another set of the same; no particular theme, just shots from daily life in one of the world's busiest urban areas. Hope you enjoy them!

I'm pretty familiar with these "human statue" performers, as every time I would go to Covent Garden in London they would be there. This guy just outside Yoyogi Park, however, was brilliant and would have fit right in. He was advertising himself as "Japanese salaryman, hourly wage (i.e. donation please) 100 yen". And his reaction when you drop the aforesaid 100 yen into his cup was absolutely priceless. Unfortunately I wasn't quick enough to catch it.

There will be the almost obligatory sakura series, but I'm still processing the pictures. In the meantime, there's still a lot of stuff to upload, so keep an eye out.

Thanks for looking!

This is a collection of posts. Some (most) have a particular theme, but some are just collections. I try to only include my best shots in here.

If you like what you see, please leave a message and I'll try to answer all comments.

Thank you!
