Despite living in Japan for almost 20 years, I had, for whatever reason, never been to Kyushu, the southernmost of the main islands. That was rectified at the end of last year with a short trip to Nagasaki.
As a form of experiment, I only took the iPhone with me, to see if it could do the job for an entire trip (spoiler: yes, easily). This doesn't mean I've decided to stop using "camera cameras" at all, but it's nice to know that if one of them stopped working or I dropped one into a river or something, I can pull out the phone and carry on.
Other than being surprisingly cold, I enjoyed Nagasaki a lot, and this is reflected in the large number of pictures I came back with. This will be at least a two-parter and very possibly a three. Hope you enjoy them!

Next entry should be up next week.

This is a collection of posts. Some (most) have a particular theme, but some are just collections. I try to only include my best shots in here.
