The two extremes, part 1
I traded in some gear recently, and the price I got for it happened to be pretty much equal to what I was considering picking up: a Canon EOS R6 with a 50mm 1.8 lens. A 50 1.8 is one of the most commonly used lenses, both in terms of focal length and max aperture, and I think it's safe to call it a normal lens - which is in no way an insult. I also picked up another lens, which is very much not a normal lens, and that will be the subject of the next article. For now though, some shots from the 50. Hope you like them!
The next entry will feature the "not even remotely normal" lens.
