Overlapping themes

January 31, 2021  •  Leave a Comment

Having not gone out as much as usual recently due to the state of emergency currently in effect, I'm in the unusual position of running (slightly) low on pictures. So for this entry I thought I would tie together two themes, which happen to overlap slightly.

The two themes are "black and white iPhone photography", and "Asakusa". If you're not familiar with the geography of Tokyo, Asakusa is in the general vicinity of the Tokyo Sky Tree and Senso-ji, one of the best-known temples in Tokyo. Normally this area is heaving with people, both tourists and locals, but with the former group nowhere to be seen, it was a little less crowded than usual. Fortunately, the vast majority of people had the common sense / social responsibility to mask up.

Anyway. The pictures this week are therefore a) in black and white, b) from Asakusa, or c) both, and d) all from the iPhone. Hope you like them!

There should be enough in the archive for an entry next week too, but I need to start shooting more!

Thanks for looking!

This is a collection of posts. Some (most) have a particular theme, but some are just collections. I try to only include my best shots in here.

If you like what you see, please leave a message and I'll try to answer all comments.

Thank you!
