Single theme challenge

May 03, 2020  •  Leave a Comment

Before Tokyo got a lot quieter due to the official state of emergency announcement, things went on in a somewhat normal fashion. One of the events I happened to read about was a display of dyed materials, hung across a river not too far from where I am. (To put this into the timeline, this was February 22nd).

It's been quite a long time since I recall doing an article on a single theme, and specifically a theme where the pictures are by definition going to be visually similar. It makes for quite an interesting challenge: how do you show multiple photos of the same event but keep it visually interesting? You have to bring your thinking cap.

Whether I managed to do that or not is going to be up to the viewer to decide! Anyway, hope you like these.

Still haven't exhausted my archive, so keep an eye open.

Thanks for looking!

This is a collection of posts. Some (most) have a particular theme, but some are just collections. I try to only include my best shots in here.
