Pixel fight 4 : 16mp

September 15, 2019  •  Leave a Comment

This week, the pixels go up, but so does the sensor size - which isn't difficult, as the last post was all about the iPhone.

I currently have rather too many cameras lying around. Of those, the one I've had the longest is the subject of this entry: the Olympus OMD-EM5 mark 1. Still working perfectly well. I use it 95 per cent of the time with an old Canon manual focus lens via an adaptor. The ability to magnify the image means that you only have yourself to blame if you miss the focus.

So, enough text and more visuals. Hope you like these!

Political photo / Brexit metaphor. An out of focus UK being shown the exit.

To wrap this one up, a short series. I was in a park in Tokyo a while back (I think it was Hibiya Park) and it started to rain. I found a semi-sheltered area near a lake, where this rather bold fellow was strutting around, as if to say "this is my lake, and as long as you remember that, you're welcome to hang out here". He was also not camera-shy.

There's one more of these "pixel fight" entries (I told you I have too many cameras; I'm actually thinking of selling a few of them off and consolidating my collection), so hope to see you next time.

Thanks for looking!
