It's been a few articles since the first iPhone-only entry, and as the camera on it continues to impress, it's time for another.

The HDR function in particular is very useful in high contrast situations or those with lots of dynamic range. It turns out a well balanced picture but doesn't turn it into an HDR Monstrosity.

A plug for Apple (they still do a lot of things right, although the replacement for Aperture, called "Photos", is an absolute disaster and is going to result in me keeping most of my photos on here instead, and deleting the app as soon as possible. Absolutely terrible piece of software!)

 

 

 

 

The HDR came in handy here, although I had to do a bit of work with Photos' (incredibly rudimentary) controls to get it just so.

 

 

That's it for this one. I've started shooting some film again as well as digital, so there may be some more of that coming up at some point too.
