Nakasendo part 3

More from the sights along the way...

Once out of the forested areas, we were back on the "open road", so to speak. The weather was conducive to shooting, which is not something I can say for many days this year so far.

Sorry about the power lines, they're quite hard to avoid in Japan and removing them would take ages to do seamlessly.

Passing by a fish farm; a good time to use the polarising filter to get rid of the glare in the water

It took a while to get this shot. Not because I couldn't line it up, but I got something pretty rare for a Japanese camera: an error message. Took a minute or two to fix, and then it was back to normal. Polarising filter again, to make the sky more interesting.

In the same area, there was an old dog who was very docile. He even winked at us.

The last part of this set will mostly be of the "finishing post" in Tsumago. I'll put it up in a few days.

Thanks for looking!
